Kyle's story begins on Cooper Point, near the Olympia Country and Golf Club, where he spent much of his childhood. "That club is a huge part of my life because my grandfather was the 6th member," Kyle shares, highlighting the strong family ties that anchor him to the community. After graduating from Capital High School, Kyle pursued a golf scholarship at the College of the Desert in Southern California. "Working at golf courses is where I became attracted to customer relations, serving customers and having an impact on people’s day to day," he explains. This early passion for helping others naturally led Kyle to explore a career in real estate.

"A friend encouraged me to get my real estate license, and it felt like the right move," Kyle recalls. Starting in the commercial sector, he quickly realized that residential real estate resonated more with his desire for meaningful, emotional connections. "Jim Greene, owner of Olympic Sotheby’s International Realty, sat down with me and talked to me about doing residential, and things just clicked for me," Kyle says. This pivotal conversation steered him towards a path where he could truly make a difference in people's lives.

Favorite Olympia Neighborhoods

When asked about his favorite neighborhoods in Olympia, Kyle enthusiastically points to Cooper Point. "Everyone is so welcoming, and that is what’s unique about Cooper Point," he describes. The neighborhood's close-knit atmosphere, combined with its proximity to the golf course, Westside and downtown Olympia, makes it a special place for Kyle. "The people who live there are so special, and I have a great network of friends and family, especially growing up there," he adds.

Life Beyond Real Estate

Outside the office, Kyle is an avid outdoorsman and golfer. "I love being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, golfing, camping, etc. Occasionally I’ll dirt bike in Capitol Forest, and I love being on the water," he shares. His weekends often include family dinners at his parents’ house, emphasizing the importance of family in his life. "It’s great having my family local," Kyle says.

Kyle's involvement with Evergreen Christian Community is another cornerstone of his life. "I have built a lot of influential relationships there where I meet people who inspire me to be better every day," he explains. These connections not only enrich his personal life but also enhance his professional relationships, allowing him to serve his clients with greater empathy and understanding.

Olympia’s Hidden Gems

Kyle is passionate about supporting local businesses and loves sharing his favorite spots with clients and friends. "Samayra Coffee Co. is one of my favorite spots on the Westside. They have amazing coffee and it’s a great place to have business meetings, meet friends, and find community," he recommends. For dining, Kyle highlights La Gitana in downtown Olympia for classic Italian pizza, and Cascadia Grill, which Kyle describes as "a hidden gem with a fantastic vibe and a wide range of foods, from seafood to southern cuisine. They never miss."

Helping Clients Achieve Their Dreams

Kyle finds immense satisfaction in guiding his clients through the significant decision of buying or selling a home. "When people are buying or selling a house, it’s a huge decision in their lives. I feel blessed that I get to be an integral part of the process," he states. Kyle aims to be more than just an agent; he strives to be a counselor and a trusted advisor. "I want my clients to feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire process," he emphasizes. The true reward for Kyle comes when his clients reach the finish line, feeling that their needs were met. "Knowing I made a positive difference in my client’s lives is the best reward," he concludes.

Committed to Community

Giving back is a fundamental part of Kyle's ethos. He volunteers at the Thurston County Food Bank, packing Thanksgiving meals each year, and participates in Greene Giving with every real estate transaction. "I’m involved in my church and on Thursday nights, I help serve meals with Union Gospel Mission and bring supplies and clothing for the homeless in the area," Kyle explains. His dedication to these causes underscores his commitment to making Olympia a better place for everyone.
