Meet Tommy Lowe
his love for real estate is unlike anyone in Thurston County and his passion to see positive growth in Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater makes him very well loved in the community. Born in Tumwater as the oldest of 5 boys, Tommy is no stranger to Thurston County. After graduating high school, he became a firefighter and eventually fought fires for the Department of Natural Resources. He’s done a lot; from construction, working for the state, and eventually property sales. After starting a family, he decided to start buying and selling property and flipping houses on the weekends. Falling more and more in love with real estate he decided he would obtain his real estate license and he transitioned into it full time. Just as he did so, the market crashed. Tommy wasn’t nervous; he knew that even in a bad economy there were ways to be successful in real estate. Teaching himself how to sell real estate and competing with other agents in Thurston County was exactly what Tommy was looking for.
“I really enjoy teaching people how to sell real estate, I love working with my builders,
I always come into the office every day trying to encourage people."
“When the market crashed, instead of sitting in the office starring at the MLS and waiting for someone to call, I went to the super-markets and started handed out cards and talking with people. It was a great time to network with people and to invest in real estate, with the market being so low.”
Real estate is his passion, the competitive and fast-paced environment keeps him moving. He’s excited to teach new members of his team and see them succeed, while also helping the community he grew up in. After more than 15 years in real estate, Tommy has taken on a new role, similar to that of a coach, where he absolutely loves coming into the office and encouraging those working around him.
“I really enjoy teaching people how to sell real estate, I love working with my builders, I always come into the office every day trying to encourage people. If you keep working at it every day, you’re going to be successful. My motto is, tomorrow is always another day, today might have been horrible but tomorrow… it always has a way of coming around.”
You might see Tommy on the water, or you might see him on the trails with his family riding dirt bikes, if you do see him, say hello, he’s a positive light in Thurston County and a great friend! If you have questions about real estate or anything at all, feel free to contact him at tommy@teamlowe.com or at 360.791.3854. ?????
